LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Two members of the Little Rock Nine met with dignitaries from other countries Monday morning.

Ernest Green and Carlotta Walls LaNier were at the Little Rock Club to greet more than 45 ambassadors, who are representing countries from four continents. The ambassadors are in Arkansas for three days to meet with business leaders and learn about the state's diverse history. On Monday, the group participated in a panel discussion about the Little Rock Nine incidents that happened at Central High School.

In addition to Little Rock, the group will visit Fayetteville and Bentonville during their stay. While in Little Rock, they visited the Clinton Presidential Library; they head to northwest Arkansas on Tuesday to tour the University of Arkansas and visit the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.

The purpose of their trip, which is organized by Experience America, is to build America's relationships with countries around the world.
