LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- The Little Rock Technology Park is holding public meetings about proposed sites for a new park.
Members presented their four proposed sites Tuesday night at UALR to the community. Officials changed the criteria for the site to address displacement concerns for residents and businesses.
Carolyn Heitman lives in the John Barrow area and says they started implementing a neighborhood plan for development, and this would be the icing on the cake.
"The property is there. It's ready. It's zoned for this development. And we are ready for economic growth in our area," she says.
Officials also took other criteria into consideration with these proposals including size, access, exposure, and traffic patterns. There will be another meeting Wednesday evening from 5 to 6:30 in the Legends Room at the Jack Stephens Center at UALR.
