FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Court documents show that an Arkansas man accused of strapping a fake bomb to a woman's leg and trying to force her to withdraw money from a bank suffered a stroke this summer.
Records filed in Washington County Circuit Court say Paul Bradley had a stroke in August.
Bradley was slated to go on trial Monday in Fayetteville, but his court date has been postponed and hasn't been rescheduled yet.
Bradley's lawyer wrote that the rehabilitative services center where Bradley is receiving care said Friday that he needs at least four more weeks of treatment.
Bradley was arrested in January after authorities say he tried to extort money from a woman and her husband.
He has pleaded not guilty to robbery, kidnapping and other charges at the state level.
