LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Political season means more money for ad makers. Each election you see more signs out in folks' yards, hoping to gain attention for their choice candidate.
Employees at Ad Craft in Little Rock say political seasons drive their sales up about 30 percent. "We do a lot of local politics like city directors, state representatives, and county sheriffs and clerks, that kind of thing this season," says president Randi Evans.
Evans says the bulk of their orders come from Arkansas candidates and those supporting local issues. The business charges about $500 for every 200 signs with two colors on it.
When they aren't printing ads, the company makes signs for construction, real estate, companies, and schools. The Ad Craft crew can get a couple hundred signs in about two days.
