LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Each week we feature children up for adoption, and today three siblings absolutely lit up our world.
The Museum of Discovery is not the usual spot to get down.
"We've got a dance party in the museum!" screams THV's Dawn Scott.
But for 8-year old Miaaliyah, 7-year old Marvin, and 4-year old Maurice, it was time for celebration. They are together again to play, scream, and just be kids.
"Oh my gosh! They are so wonderful and energetic," says DHS Adoption Specialist Monica Spencer. "They really need to be in a home that's nurturing structured (laughs)."
Despite the constant reminder that they so desperately need a home, they even have their adoption specialist laughing and smiling.
"They are rambunctious, lively, but they are sweet, charming, mannerable kids, lovable kids," notes Spencer.
Lovable kids, and they want a mom and a dad. They also want to be together again. They've been in foster care for nearly three years, and they've lived apart much of that time.
Marvin loves basketball and loves to dance. His little brother Maurice does pretty much everything he does. Sister Miaaliyah is a 2nd grader who loves math. They all love to smile and dream of finding a forever home.
"They want to be loved like everyone else wants to be loved," says Spencer. "They want to be in a home where they can feel protected."
The Museum of Discovery sent the children away with goodie bags. Special thanks to the folks there who went above and beyond what even we asked.
