WOODBURY, N.J. (AP) - The parents of a 12-year-old girl found dead in her southern New Jersey hometown are backing off criticisms of law enforcement's search for her.
Lawyer Jaime Kaigh says he's been hired by Autumn Pasquale's parents to help them through the process of dealing with their daughter's death.
Kaigh says he does not believe that investigators including the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office handled the case incorrectly.
A family spokesman had previously been critical of search efforts.
Autumn's body was found in a recycling bin on Monday, 48 hours after she was reported missing.
Two teenage brothers have been charged with murder. They are due in court Friday for a hearing to determine whether they should remain in a juvenile detention facility.
