PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Two Oregon teenagers who didn't return from a weekend hike are safe after spending two nights in wet, windy weather.
A representative from the Clackamas County sheriff's office says 17-year-old Jackson Chandler and 16-year-old Bradley Nelson were found Monday afternoon and did not need medical attention.
The pair left West Linn in suburban Portland on Saturday afternoon and were expected to return to their car by nightfall.
Their parents called for help when the boys didn't return. Searchers on Sunday found the teens' car five miles east of the Table Rock Wilderness area.
The teens are Boy Scouts and were described as "experienced backpackers."
