LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Two men are charged with capital murder in the death of a 26-year-old man in Little Rock.
According to police, Rosas was standing outside Terrace Place in southwest Little Rock on Saturday when he was robbed at gunpoint. Police said he was then shot in the chest after he gave the suspects his wallet.
Police said Rosas was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Thursday night, Sgt. Cassandra Davis with LRPD informed THV 11 News that Joe Bell III, 22, and Johnathan Hattison, 23, were developed as suspects and at around 2:00 p.m., each were arrested and charged with capital murder.
Police have not released information as to who actually fired the weapon that killed Rosas, but the investigation is ongoing.
According to the arrest report, both men were charged with capital murder, while Hattison was charged with aggravated robbery and theft of property as well.
Sgt. Davis says the motive behind this homicide was robbery.
