SEARCY COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - THV 11 affiliate KFSM reports that at least one person is dead after a three-vehicle accident in Searcy Co. involving a Hot Springs church bus.
Arkansas State Police told KFSM that 19 bus passengers were transported to various hospitals, but the extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
KFSM reports that Ronald Battershell, 67, of Marshall died in the collision. He was driving a Chevy pickup. Those in the third vehicle involved, a Hyundai Elantra, were not injured.
ASP told KFSM the wreck happened around 11:15 a.m. on Highway 65 near St. Joe.
