NEW YORK, N.Y. (CNN) - Secretary of State Hillary Clinton left New York hospital Wednesday afternoon after being treated for a blood clot near her brain.
She walked out New York Presbyterian Hospital accompanied by her husband, former President Bill Clinton and daughter Chelsea.
Clinton had been admitted Sunday after the blood clot was discovered during a follow-up exam related to a concussion she suffered last month.
Doctorstreated it with blood thinners and expect her to make a full recovery. Clinton plans to leave the Obama administration later this month once a replacement Secretary of State is confirmed.
