NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Soldiers from around the nation took part in mortar live fire training with the Arkansas National Guard Friday.
The exercises at Camp Robinson in North Little Rock were a part of training that takes places year-round.
Sergeant First Class Justin Fisher says they not only get realistic training, but have a little fun.
Fisher says indirect fire allows them to have an advantage over an enemy. He says in a real-world scenario, they would be supporting ground units as they move in.
