NEW YORK, NY (CNN) -- You can get a very nice hotel room in New York City for about $15,000 a night, but you can't necessarily buy security.
Crooks managed to steal $2 million worth of jewelry from the Four Seasons Hotel, this weekend.
The smash-and-grab happened at about 2 a.m. Saturday.
The three thieves didn't rob any guests. Instead, they used a sledgehammer to smash open the Jacob and Company case next to the hotel's front desk.
Expensive watches, necklaces, earrings, cufflinks, and pendants have a reported value of $2 million.
