LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- This weekend is all about the red carpet and a gold statue named Oscar. And right here in Little Rock you have a chance to get the oscar experience and benefit a great cause.

Joining us on "THV 11 News at 9:00" with more on the Oscar Experience is Markey Ford with the Wolfe Street Foundation.
The Wolfe Street Foundation is one of only 48 nonprofit organizations in the USA chosen by the Academy to celebrate the 85th Academy Awards Ceremony.

The Mission of the Wolfe Street Foundation, Inc. is to provide facilities for support groups faithful to the original 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and to develop and implement programs aimed toward education and prevention for those persons interested in recovery from addictions and for their families as they relate to alcoholism.

The Oscars event will be Sunday Feb. 24 at the Embassy Suites. At 6 p.m. the red carpet opens and the live auction begins. At 7:10 p.m. there will be a live auction and at 7:30 the broadcast of the Academy Awards begins as well as a five course dinner.

Individual reservations begin at $150.
