Celsor named GAC player of the week

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (HARDING) - Junior forward Kristen Celsor was named Great American Conference Player of the Week in a release by the conference on Monday. It's the second time Celsor has received the award this season.

Celsor made 19-of-23 shots last week (82.6 percent), including 6-of-8 from behind the 3-point line. She also grabbed 17 rebounds.

In the 97-41 GAC win against Southern Arkansas, Celsor made 12-of-13 from the field and finished with 27 points in only 25 minutes of action. She also had 12 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season. Celsor scored 15 of her 18 points in the second half against Arkansas-Monticello as she led HU to a 74-63 GAC win.

Celsor and the Lady Bison basketball team will be back in action on Thursday as they travel to Arkansas Tech on Thursday. Tip-off is at 5:30 p.m., in Russellville.
