It's the one year anniversary for Little Rock's beloved hot dog stand, run by Mike Juliano, aka Hot Dog Mike.
He's a one-man operation, making everything from hot dogs, chili dogs, polish sausage, and bratwurst. And it's been one year since Mike began his hot dog stand business.
"It's been a blessed year," says Juliano. "I was sitting out a year ago hoping that someone would buy a hot dog and here we are a year later. Don't even know how many I've sold, but it's been wonderful and I've met some great people."
In celebration of this "Cart-a-Versary", Hot Dog Mike decided to launch a hot dog into space.
"We just wanted to go big, you know, and what else could we do. I have been told my dogs are out of this world so here we go."
The hot dog is fashioned in a "space module" with an HD camera to shoot video and a tracking GPS. It is expected to land back on Earth around noon. Anyone who finds it will win a free hot dog, every week, for a year.
