LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (August 10, 2012) - Little Rock is going to the dogs this weekend as the Arkansas Kennel Club hosts their 134th annual dog show.
The show runs today, August 11 and Sunday, August 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds in the Hall of Industry.
Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for children and seniors. Kids under 6 get in free. Entry paid at the door.
There will be vendors with animal related equipment, a public information booth, and a raffle to benefit the Arkansas Rollin' Razorbacks wheelchair basketball team (a non-profit organization), as well as close to a thousand dogs in competition representing most of the breeds recognized by the American Kennel Club. Individual breed schedules will be available approximately one week prior to the shows.
