LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Oct. 9, 2012) - How would you like to trim $240 from your annual energy bill? If you are an Entergy Arkansas customer, you can easily do that through the Entergy Solutions Rewards Program.
The Rewards program allows you to customize your energy efficiency and if you, for example, change out incandescent lights to CFLs, each month your energy usage will be compared to the previous year/month and the program gives you points for saving energy.
So far, Entergy Arkansas has 1,700 customers who have signed up for the free Rewards program. Best of all, there's no sign-up fee.
If you have an Entergy Arkansas account number, all you do is go to the website to sign up. And, for that, you get points.
Also on the website, you can also find tips and ways to save energy from no-cost actions to home improvement recommendations as well as the history of your energy usage.
Entergy Arkansas is a finalist for what's considered the Oscars of the energy industry. Their Energy Efficiency program is up for the Platts Global Energy Efficiency Program of the Year award. The winners will be announced in New York City.
