LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- The crunch on credit cards is easing and now may be the time for you to start thinking about getting a credit card. 

Joining us on "THV 11 News This Morning" with things to consider when applying for a card is Dr. Jane Wayland, Dean of the UALR School of Business.

New legislation has passed allowing for retailers to charge a checkout fee up to 4 percent. Right now, retailers are unlikely to charge this.

Credit is easing now, and it may be a good time to apply for a card.
