LA CROSSE, WI (CBS/WKBT) -- Anyone who's watched a crime drama on TV knows anything you say may be used against you in a court of law. A Wisconsin man is about to find that out.

Police say Houaka Yang stole a video camera and in a recording gave a tour of his home and admitted he stole the camera. At one point he says, "It's OK. The cops won't figure it out."

He even shows his face in the video. Not only will that video be used in the prosecution, another video helped lead police to Yang.

Police used a surveillance video of Yang allegedly stealing the camera from the car of the owner's boss.
