NEW YORK (CNN) - Facebook is considering letting younger children onto its website. That's right, kids younger than 13 may soon be able to log-on to the social site.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Facebook is mulling ways to allow the younger users, but that it would likely require parental supervision.

The company is reportedly looking into linking kids to their parents' accounts. Parents may also control who their children can "friend" and the apps they can use.
