JEFFERSONTOWN, Kentucky (CNN/WAVE) - Two suspected thieves were allegedly caught red-handed at a Lowe's thanks to surveillance.
Police say the video show the two crooks moving around big ticket items, some $70,000 worth, to the back door in a matter of minutes.
"The power tools they have, the drill sets. They have compressors there, high-end items. There's, certainly, several items they took worth a couple of thousand dollars each."
The two men worked fast to disarm the alarm, get the merchandise out, and be on their way- Nearly the perfect crime.
In the end, however, the alarm system did just what it should have done. It alerted the police for a fast arrest. The suspects are facing charges of burglary and criminal mischief.
