MARSHFIELD, WI (CBS/WSAW) -- Just outside Marshfield sits one of the best known attractions in the area. Clyde Wynia started Jurustic Park 19 years ago with building a big iron bird. From dragons to hobbits and everything in between, everything is built with scrap metal.

He says, "neighbor came by, asked where did you get something like that, I said the first thing that came to my mind, dug it out of the marsh during the iron age, but their extinct now been digging them out and welding them together ever since."

Clyde is known for his sense of humor, but people enjoy the youthful attempt he's made to turn a hobby into an experience that's fun for everyone. He says, "Couldn't have designed a better retirement and it just has been so much fun."

Jurustic Park is one of the best known attractions in the Marshfield area, but might be one of the most unique places in all of Wisconsin. Clyde says, "15,000 people is summertime, but come all year round, last year people signed our guest book from 34 different countries, 32 the year before."

Clyde's wife Nancy also has a shop on the grounds known as the "Hobbit House" and inside is a collection of hand-made glass and crafts that showcase her unique talents.

The Wynias make use of their spare time, but they also make time to give back to the community in their own unique way. Clyde says, "Selling several hundred pieces a year, plus every year I give to 12 different charitable auctions raises $5,000 or $6,000."

The Wynias give back to the community as much as they can. They see it as their unique way to do something great because of the great life they've lived. Clyde says, "It's a great life, just love it because you see so many people through here every day, sometimes we see some in a good mood and once in awhile you see some in a bad mood but then their funny."
