HAMBURG, New York (CBS) - Fans gathered on both sides of the border to view Nik Wallenda's historic walk across Niagara Falls.
The 33-year-old daredevil became the first person to successfully complete a tightrope walk over the falls from the United States to Canada.
He told reporters concentration, focus and lots of training helped him through the walk.
His wife and three children greeted him at the finish line.
Wallenda is the seventh-generation member of the famed Flying Wallendas. His great-grandfather Karl Wallenda died during a tightrope walk in Puerto Rico.
