DENVER, Colo. (CBS/KCNC) -- It's a big baby celebration at the Denver Zoo as it welcomes the birth of a critically endangered species.
The zoo sent over video of Makar, he's an Amur leopard cub. He was born April 25 and is the first birth of this species at the zoo in 16 years.
He just received a clean bill of health from the vets and you can visit him at the feline building.
Amur leopards once roamed the region between the Chinese Russian border and it's believed there are fewer than 40 of the animals in the wild.
