GRASS LAKE, MI (CNN/WILX) - While many were barbequing for the fourth of July, some people in a Michigan town were racing in cardboard boats.
Crafts of all sorts hit mid-Michigan lakes this fourth of July, but on Grass Lake, the most popular were made of paper.
"Basically, you take cardboard, a bunch of sheets of cardboard, you cut 'em up and make a boat out of them. Caulk them, tape 'em up, and paint them," says participant Collin Keener.
