PASADENA, Tex. (CNN/KHOU) -- Some unwanted residents of a Houston-area neighborhood were sent packing on Monday. A huge hive of about 80,000 bees was living in the side of a home.

Adam Ybarra's problem is a swarm of bees in his neighbor's wall right next to his own carport. He says, "They're just a nuisance. A nuisance to society."

And a danger to his allergic wife and a daughter with epilepsy. Claude Griffin with Gotcha Pest Control says, "This hive is giving me the appearance it does only gonna be a little bit. But I think it's just a façade for the mountain of hell that's fixin to be here."

Griffin and his assistant Eric, agreed to venture into hell for free. You may feel a little silly wearing a bee suit in 90 degree weather, but it's vital for what we're guessing became a very angry swarm.

He tore into the side of the house with a saw, pried open the siding, and found a beehive about ten feet high.

The Ybarras hid inside the entire time while the men of gotcha pest control vacuumed up as many bees as they could wrangle - and carted them away.

But as neighbors half a block away found themselves swatting away the stragglers. Claude told us he's been to this street too many times before. He says, "It's like a little honey comb hideout for these people."

A hideout now with hopefully one less queen and less nuisance for a Pasadena family. The bees that were removed are going to a farmer who can put them to good use.
