ROCHESTER, NY (CNN) -- Greece Athena and Rush-Henrietta varsity boys basketball teams squared off Saturday in a tournament game at Rochester's East High School.
With seconds to go in the fourth quarter, the score was tied at 54.
Rush-Henrietta point guard Daniel "Bay" Barley stumbled but kept his dribble as the clock ticked down and side-armed a half-court shot before the buzzer.
"I know that the clock was running down, so I wanted to be the one with the ball and as I fell I knew to keep my dribble so I could get back up, and I got back up I was ready to shoot the ball. I shot it and I was just praying that it would go in," said Daniel Barley.
And it did! Rush-Henrietta won 57-54.
