WEST LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (June 12, 2012) - Celebrate Father's Day at Wildwood Park for the Arts with a day of fishing and family fun.
Father's Day Sunday is the one day a year Wildwood opens Swan Lake to the public for catch and release fishing.
The fish are sure to be hungry so come out and enjoy family fun, food and beverages all afternoon.
Along with recreational fishing Wildwood Park will also be hosting its first ever Family Fishing Derby to win fun prizes for categories like the Biggest Fish and Most Fish Caught. The Derby competition will be held from 2 - 4 p.m. on the day of the event.
Gate admission is $5 and includes a "Wildwood Fishing License". Children five and under are free. It's an additional $5 to enter the derby.
Wildwood Park is a premier cultural institution dedicated to celebrating the arts and nature. Wildwood is open 7 days a week and free for the public to enjoy (admission fees are applicable during festival weekends).
