Arkansas Women down Tulsa 57-50, improve to 7-0

TULSA, Okla. (KTHV) - The University of Arkansas women's basketball continued their undefeated streak after 57-50 win over Tulsa on Wednesday night. This is the best start for the Lady Razorbacks under Jimmy Dikes.

The women relied on their defensive prowess to hold on to the win. They held Tulsa to just 29.7% shooting and only allowed 2-of-14 three pointers. The defense also let the Hogs go on a 17-2 run to finish the game.

Jessica Jackson led the team with 22 points and 9 rebounds. Bailey Zimmerman had 11 points while Alecia Cooley had four blocks on the night.

The Lady Razorbacks will take on Texas Tech at Bud Walton Area for an SEC/Big 12 Challenge on Saturday. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. and will air on the SEC Network.
