LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - THV sports director Wess Moore has "One Moore Thought" on the upcoming football season.
Wess says, "I know there are a lot of people who believe this upcoming football season is going to be disappointing, but I don't agree. Here's why:
It's my Buck Showalter theory. Buck's the manager for the Baltimore Orioles, but in '95 he was with the Yankees. After he was fired in '96, the Yankees won the World Series.
In 2000, Buck Showalter was let go in Arizona. The next year, the Diamond Backs won the title.
He also managed the Rangers. Texas didn't win the title the next year, but they've been back to the World Series under Ron Washington."
