CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - The Panthers selected wide receiver Joe Adams from Arkansas with the second of back-to-back picks in the fourth round, giving Cam Newton another weapon on offense.

A four-year starter for the Razorbacks, Adams had his most productive season in 2011 as a senior with 54 catches for 652 yards.

The Minnesota Vikings selected Arkansas receiver Jarius Wright with their first pick in the fourth round.

Wright caught 66 passes for 1,117 yards and 12 touchdowns for the Razorbacks last season. He helps fill a need on the outside for the Vikings, who are desperate for playmakers to complement Percy Harvin.

The Minnesota Vikings then selected Arkansas receiver Greg Childs with their third pick in the fourth-round.

Childs got off to a promising start with the Razorbacks, but suffered a left knee injury in the eighth game of his junior season and was limited last year to 21 catches for 240 yards and no touchdowns.

Wright and Childs played High School together in Warren.
