LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas-Little Rock freshman Alfred Kerstis has received an at-large invitation to the 2012 NCAA Men's Golf Championship Regionals.

Officials say Kerstis will be one of five individuals competing at the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club in Norman, Okla., set for May 17 through May 19. The top five teams and the lowest-scoring individual in the 54-hole tournament will advance to the finals, which begin May 29 in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

Kerstis is the Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year. He has 72.79 conference scoring average as a true freshman.

Kerstis recorded six top-10 finishes in Arkansas-Little Rock's 10 events this season, with nine sub-par rounds.

Besides Norman, Okla., other NCAA Regional sites include Greensboro, N.C., Athens, Ga., Bowling Green, Ky., Ann Arbor, Mich., and Stanford, Calif.
