Miami, FL (Sports Network) - Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger limped off
the court and made his way back to the locker room during Game 5 of the
Eastern Conference semifinals.
Granger, the Pacers' leading scorer during the regular season, injured his
ankle late in the second quarter against the Miami Heat. He tried to give it a
go in the third, but went to the ground in pain after committing a foul on
LeBron James just 2:11 into the half.
At the time of his injury, Granger had 10 points on 3-of-6 shooting. He has
made more headlines for his physical play this series than with his offensive
production, as he came in averaging 13.8 points over the first four games,
five less than his season average.
