Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Boston Celtics guard Avery Bradley, who did not
play in the last two games of an Eastern Conference semifinal against the
Philadelphia 76ers, will miss the remainder of the playoffs following shoulder
surgery.
Bradley, who averaged 6.7 points while starting all of Boston's 10
previous playoff games up until this past Monday, had the surgery Friday. He
has been dealing with his left shoulder popping out of place.
Game 7 of this series is slated for Boston on Saturday. Should the Celtics
advance, they will face the Miami Heat in the Eastern finals. Miami finished
off Indiana in a Game 6 on Thursday night.
