FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The Southeastern Conference approved a rule change on Friday that will allow Arkansas football recruits to visit neutral sites, including War Memorial Stadium, while on unofficial visits.
Before the change, Arkansas was barred from providing tickets to recruits making unofficial visits to off-campus sites.
The change moves the SEC in line with NCAA regulations, which allow a designated home team at an off-campus site to host recruits.
Athletic director Jeff Long says the change is important because the Razorbacks play two games per year at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock and may resume its Texas A&M series at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
