Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - On a night the Dodgers honored former catcher and current Angels manager Mike Scioscia with his own bobblehead, it was an ex-Halo who helped snap the visitor's 10-game road winning streak.

Juan Rivera belted a go-ahead three-run homer as part of a four-run bottom of the eighth inning as the Dodgers downed the Angels, 5-2, in the middle installment of the three-game Freeway Series.

In the eighth, Andre Ethier, fresh off inking a five-year contract extension to remain in Los Angeles until 2017 earlier in the day, cashed in with a game- tying RBI single before Rivera jumped all over a letter-high fastball and deposited it into the seats in left-center for a 5-2 Dodgers lead.

Jamey Wright (3-2) tossed a scoreless eighth to pick up the win while Kenley Jansen fanned two in a 1-2-3 ninth for his 10th save of the year.

Jerome Williams (6-4) allowed three hits in the opening frame, but just one between the second and seventh innings before unraveling in the eighth. In all, he surrendered five runs on six hits and three walks while fanning seven in 7 2/3 innings.
