Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - The Indianapolis Colts signed No. 1
overall pick Andrew Luck on Thursday.
Luck's deal comes one day after the Washington Redskins signed Robert Griffin
III, the No. 2 overall pick, to a four-year, $21.1 million contract.
The former Stanford quarterback has put his signature on a fully guaranteed
four-year deal. It is believed to be worth around $22 million.
A two-time Heisman Trophy runner-up, Luck ranks first on Stanford's career
lists for touchdown passes (82), completion percentage (.687; 713-of-1064),
passing efficiency (162.76) and total offense (10,387 yards).
He passed for 3,517 yards and 37 touchdowns in his final season with the
Cardinal.
