LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- 19th annual Ronald McDonald Golf Classic tees off at Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock on Monday, August 20th with flights at 8:00 am and 1:00 pm.
The tournament will kick off with a Red Shoe Affair-There's No Place Like Our Home Away From Home Party on Sunday, August 19th at 6:00 pm in the Club's Ballroom.
Vice President of Commercial Lending at First Security Bank, Corey Bryant, and Assistant Vice President of Commercial Lending at IBERIABANK, Chris Howe, are chairing the two days of events.
The tournament and party are expected to raise more than one hundred and fifty thousand dollars for children and families served by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas (RMHCA).
The Red Shoe Affair on Sunday night will be an indoor barbeque picnic with auctions, live music, our signature lemonade drink, and the first annual Red Shoe Auction which will feature various types and styles of red shoes.
Tickets to this party are given to every participating golf team, and also can be purchased individually for $50 each.
The evening will be hosted by The Buzz 103.7 radio host Justin Acri. The following day, golfers will compete in the four-person scramble tournament.
The Ronald McDonald Golf Classic provides valuable resources for RMHCA and has raised more than $2 million in the event's 19-year history. This year the goal is to raise more than $150,000, to give children and families a home away from home when they have to travel to central Arkansas for medical care.
The tournament not only raises vital resources, but also increases awareness about RMHCA and its programs.

The Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for families with ill children being treated at local hospitals.
