LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Mark Edwards sits down with Jim Harris to talk bout ASU's pursuit to get
to the top of the Sun Belt Conference in the 2012 football season.
Arkansas State became bowl eligible last week with a 37-19 victory over North Texas. The Redwolves moved into a three-way tie atop the league standings, setting up a key Sun Belt Conference game against the University of Louisiana-Monroe this Thursday at 6 p.m. at Liberty Bank Stadium.
ASU is 6-3 overall and 4-1 in conference play. ULM has the same record. Last week, ULM lost to Louisiana-Lafayette 40-24 giving the Warhawks their first conference loss of the season. That loss also snapped a five-game winning streak for the Warhawks.
The Redwolves, on the other hand, is riding a four-game winning streak. It's their second longest streak since ending the 2011 regular season on a nine-game win streak. ASU needs just one more victory to secure back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since 1986-87.
