Sydney, Australia (Sports Network) - Kevin Anderson and Bernard Tomic were
semifinal winners in the Apia International Sydney tournament on Friday.
Anderson earned a hard-fought 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (10-8) win over Julien Benneteau,
while Tomic upset the third-seeded Andreas Seppi 7-6 (12-10), 6-4.
The South African Anderson saved two match points in the two hour and 23-
minute thriller and defeated the defending finalist Benneteau for the first
time in three chances.
Tomic saved all six of his break points against Seppi.
