MONTICELLO, Ark. (UAM) - The forecast has prompted changes to both the University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball and softball schedules for the upcoming weekend.

The home softball games against Southern Nazarene have been pushed back one day to Saturday and Sunday. Saturday's double-header will start at 1 p.m., while Sunday's double header will start at noon. It will be the Great American Conference opener for both teams.

The UAM baseball team's trip to Weatherford, Okla. has also been pushed back one day due to weather. UAM and Southwestern Oklahoma State are now scheduled to play a three-game series this Saturday and Sunday. There will be a double header on Saturday at noon and a single game on Sunday, also at noon.

In addition, head baseball coach John Harvey has announced the rescheduling of his team's non-conference game against Delta State that was postponed on February 13. UAM and the nation's top-ranked Statesmen will now play this upcoming Tuesday, February 26 starting at 1 p.m. at Weevils Field in Monticello.
