came with 50.4 seconds to play as the St. Louis Blues took a 2-1 victory over
the Los Angeles Kings in Game 2 of this Western Conference quarterfinal
Patrik Berglund tied the game early in the third period to back a 28-save
effort by Brian Elliott for the Blues, who now own a 2-0 lead in this best-of-
seven series after consecutive 2-1 victories.
St. Louis is hoping to avenge last year's sweep at the hands of the Kings in
the conference semifinals.
Dustin Brown scored the lone goal of the game for the Kings, who only lost
four games total during last year's run to the franchise's first Stanley Cup
championship. Jonathan Quick posted 23 saves in the loss.
This series heads back to Los Angeles for Game 3 on Saturday night.
