CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) -- It's going to be a busy week in Conway as UCA prepares to host the 2013 High School All-Star week. It's a chance for the best high school athletes in the state to showcase their talents.
The best male and female athletes will compete in baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, basketball and football.
Although the games don't begin until Tuesday, the athletes arrived at UCA Monday afternoon. For these seniors, they're looking forward to the chance for one last game.
"It's real exciting to be back in the game, be back playing with everyone. Just get like one more game. I think it's really cool how you can see all of the athletes. And to think that all these people are like champions and stuff," says Jared Thielke, former goalkeeper for St. Joseph's in Conway.
"We're just really excited to be part of a team that's got all of the same goals in mind. It's a big step because everybody's just, the skill set is completely different from high school and everything," says JD Rainwater, former 1st and 3rd baseman for Jonesboro High School.
