MAGNOLIA, Ark. (SAU) - In response to his record-setting performance in Southern Arkansas' season-opener, sophomore wide receiver Chris Terry has been named as one of the national offensive players of the week as it was announced by the Beyond Sports Network (BSN) on Monday.
Terry, a native of Lindale, Texas, had a sensational game as he hauled in 10 catches for a Great American Conference and Southern Arkansas single-game record 247 yards. Terry also was the recipient of three touchdown passes in the game against Southeastern Oklahoma.
Thanks to his monster game, Terry currently leads all of NCAA Division II in receiving yards with his 247. Dating back to last season, in his last two regular season games, Terry has totaled 15 catches for 391 yards and seven touchdowns.
Terry and the Muleriders will next be in action on Saturday, September 14 as they will play host to East Central at 6 p.m.
