Boise State Broncos captured a 78-68 win over the Idaho Vandals in non-

Marks connected on all but one of his 14 free-throw attempts as the Broncos
(8-2) logged their second straight win and the fifth in six tries. Ryan
Watkins added 17 points and seven rebounds, followed by Mikey Thompson and
Igor Hadziomerovic with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
The Vandals (4-6), losers of two of the last three games, were paced by Kyle
Barone who tallied 24 points and a game-high 10 rebounds, while Mike
McChristian accounted for 14 points and six boards off the bench and Stephen
Madison chipped in 12 points in the setback.
Idaho started off well enough, leading by as many as 11 points late in the
first half, thanks to a sizzling 65.0 percent shooting from the floor, but the
Broncos cut into the advantage and trailed by just eight at the break, 37-29.
In the second half it was BSU that had the hot hand from the floor, connecting
on 60.9 percent, including 5-of-8 behind the 3-point line, allowing the squad
to pull away for the double-digit victory.
Guilty of 16 turnovers, the Vandals lost despite hitting on 51.1 percent from
the floor.
