Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Shabazz Muhammad netted a game-high 27
points, including the go-ahead 3-pointer in overtime, as UCLA hung on for a
97-94 win over No. 7 Missouri on Friday at Pauley Pavilion.
Muhammad shot 10-of-19 from the floor and hit three 3-pointers, while Travis
Wear added 22 points and eight rebounds for the Bruins (10-3), who have won
five in a row. Jordan Adams contributed 12 points and five assists, while
David Wear donated 16 points and five boards off the bench in the triumph.
Phil Pressey scored a team-high 19 points and handed out a school-record 19
assists, while Laurence Bowers netted 17 points and pulled down eight rebounds
for Missouri (10-2), which had a six-game winning streak snapped.
Keion Bell dropped 17 points with six rebounds and Earnest Ross and Jabari
Brown donated 16 and 14 points, respectively, in the setback.
