An announced crowd of 4,611 saw the first game the Travs played without No. 1 prospect Mike Trout since he was called up early Friday morning.

The Los Angeles Angels called Trout up from class AA Arkansas early Friday morning as a result of centerfielder Peter Bourjos' hamstring injury on Thursday night against the Seattle Mariners. Trout is expected start in centerfield on Friday night against Seattle.
