LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Whether you've used one for years or want to try it for the first time, we're cooking with a Dutch oven this morning!
Eric McCalister with Cross-Eyed Pig stopped by to share some tips and recipes.
The cobbler he made this morning has very simple ingredients:
- Yellow cake mix
- 1 stick of butter
You can use any kind of fruit filler you want. This morning he used cherry and pineapple.
First you butter the dutch oven using a whole stick. This mix your fruit filling together and pour inside.
Then pour the yellow cake mix right on top. Then put a little cinnamon on top.
Let it cook for 45 minutes and you're done!
