Ben Affleck's hot streak is over, at least as far as Las Vegas' Hard Rock Casino is concerned.
The Casino slapped the Oscar winner with a lifetime ban from its blackjack tables after its security officials confronted him with accusations he was counting cards earlier this week.
The practice, long frowned upon by casinos, involves a player keeping tabs on all the high and low-value cards within their field of vision, so they can alter their betting strategy. It was the method used by the MIT Blackjack Team, as later depicted in Ben Mezrich's book Bringing Down the House and the subsequent film 21.
Blackjack is one of Affleck's few remaining vices after his 2001 stint in rehab for alcohol abuse.
