I'll take "I'm going home with $297,200," Alex.

Jeopardy! champ Arthur Chu, whose all-over-the-board style angered many fans of the long-running game show, finally lost on Wednesday after an 11-game winning streak that saw him rack up nearly $300,000.

Chu came in third on Wednesday's show, finishing with zero dollars. He had $6,400 in winnings heading into Final Jeopardy, then bet it all on the question: "He was the last male monarch who had not previously been Prince of Wales."

Diana Peloquin of Ann Arbor, Mich., the day's big winner with $15,700, was the only contestant with the right answer -- George VI.

Chu took to Twitter on Wednesday to thank fans for their support:

"Thanks for all the love guys. Hard to be hurt by a loss I've known was coming since Nov but seeing others react makes it real again"

Later, Chu announced on Twitter that he'll be doing a Reddit Ask me Anything session on Thursday night:

"All right everyone after some hiccups the REAL ORIGINAL and UNCENSORED @arthur_affect will be doing a @RedditAMA tomorrow night!"

In a recent interview with USA TODAY, Chu, 30, explained the origins of his unorthodox strategy, which is rooted in game theory. He also said he hopes his Jeopardy! exposure amps up his career as a voiceover artist.

Chu's 11 wins ranks third in Jeopardy! history. All-time champ Ken Jennings won 74 straight times in 2004. (USA TODAY sportswriter Eddie Timanus won five straight times in 1999. He was the show's first blind contestant.)

In a final footnote, Chu took to YouTube on Wednesday night and posted a video of himself singing along to "Weird Al" Yankovich's 1984 parody hit I Lost on Jeopardy.
